(LOS ANGELES – May 3, 2018) — Mark Kriegsman, a 25-year marketing and communications executive with a strong background in healthcare, has been named senior director of marketing, communications and strategy for the Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC), effective immediately.
In his new role, Kriegsman will oversee the day-to-day operations of OIC’s marketing strategy, brand awareness, communications and business development initiatives. In addition to serving as primary spokesperson for the organization, Kriegsman will also be responsible for the development and execution of the communications efforts of the OIC Foundation.

Kriegsman previously served as senior director of marketing and communications for Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In that capacity he created and managed Baylor’s’ first brand-awareness campaign and led the strategic vision and implementation of all marketing touch points including advertising, digital content development and market research. His other healthcare experience includes serving as vice president of marketing for NYLCare Health Plans in New York and director of advertising/corporate communications for Pacificare Health Systems in Los Angeles.
Kriegsman’s background beyond healthcare includes extensive experience in the retail, banking and entertainment markets. He has worked for some of the world’s best-known advertising agencies including J. Walter Thompson; EvansGroup Advertising; and Foote, Cone & Belding.
