Practice is about doing something over and over again, trying to make it better each time. A lot of my friends hate it. They think it’s boring. But I love it. It makes me a good tennis player. I almost never missed a practice until my elbow started hurting. It was so painful, I had to go to the doctor, who found a tumor. Thankfully, he said it was benign, and once it was removed, I would recover fully. I could tell that my doctor had seen many kids like me. Obviously he’s had lots of practice. That gave me the confidence to move ahead with my treatment.
