Seven Corporate Partners Donate New Van to OIC

Prestigious Moving and Shipping Companies Purchase New Van That Will Transport Pediatric Patients

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 4, 2015) – Paramount Transportation Systems, Alexander's International, Dependable Auto Shippers, Inc. (DAS), Masterpiece International, Ltd., Movers Specialty Service, Inc., Pac Global Insurance and Brokerage, Inc. recently joined together to purchase a new transportation van for Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC). The new vehicle will be named “Ozzie’s Shuttle” in honor of OIC’s child-friendly mascot. It will be used to transport patients between OIC’s three locations, and will also transport OIC staff to local high school sports fairs and community health fairs.

“We are grateful to these six incredible corporations for this gift. They are shining examples of how businesses can support community organizations. We appreciate their generosity as we continue to extend our mission and treat more children,” said Dr. Anthony Scaduto, president and chief executive officer of OIC.

The surprise gift was announced at a recent launch event that kicked off the official partnership between Paramount and OIC.

“Paramount and our partner vendors saw a need in our community and we felt compelled to help. It is great to see our investment go to work right away in providing OIC’s patients with reliable transportation,” said Grace Bishar, co-founder and chief financial officer of Paramount.
