Eddie Ebramzadeh, Ph.D. has been involved in orthopaedic research since 1982. He is the Director of the J. Vernon Luck, Sr., M.D. Orthopaedic Research Center at Orthopaedic Institute for Children, in alliance with University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He has authored or co-authored over 85 peer-reviewed publications, as well as several research and textbook chapters, in various aspects of biomechanics, biomaterials and evaluation of clinical outcomes in orthopedic surgery. He is a professor in the UCLA Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and a member of the Hip Society. Dr. Ebramzadeh is recognized internationally as an expert in biomechanics, biomaterials, experimental design and statistics. His focus has been on joint replacement implant design and outcome, spine biomechanics and fracture fixation implants and devices.
